** Imagine the scoring totals Charlotte's Gerald Wallace and Denver's Carmelo Anthony would have had, if either one consistently made free throws. They combined for 75 points, yet were a combined 21-of-32 from the foul line.

** Monday's halftime act was a double-jointed guy who kept folding himself into boxes or passing his body through an unstrung tennis racquet. Kind of a human plumber's tool.

** Bobcats coach Sam Vincent said he's now comfortable with Emeka Okafor and Nazr Mohammed playing together, without getting in each other's way in the post.
