Carmelo says he'll play tonight

Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony can't bear the thought of watching yet another game. So, even though his sprained left ankle is still a little sore, he vowed to play tonight against the Bobcats.'It's good enough for me to go out there and be able to do what I can do,' Anthony said Friday after walking off the practice court carrying his left shoe in his hand. 'I hate sitting out. I'm happy to be back.'

Anthony, who scored 35 points against the Bobcats on Jan. 14, has missed five straight games since he landed on the foot of Kobe Bryant in a loss to the Lakers on Jan. 21. Read more
