Blazers Host Nuggets In Northwest Showdown

Northwest Division rivals meet tonight, as the Portland Trail Blazers welcome the Denver Nuggets to the Rose Garden.

This is the fourth and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. The teams split a pair at the Pepsi Center, while the Trail Blazers defeated the Nuggets, 99-96, on December 21 at the Rose Garden.

Denver has dropped two straight at Portland after winning its previous four games there.

The Nuggets will try to extend their winning streak to three games. Linas Kleiza came off the bench to score 23 points — including 16 in the fourth quarter — as Denver rallied past Charlotte, 117-101, on Saturday at the Pepsi Center. Read more
